Atelier Former Child is a fine jewelry house founded by Brendon-James Maier in 2019, based in Los Angeles, California. Rooted in meticulous craftsmanship, individuality, and a sense of play, we create fine jewelry, leather goods, and accessories with an emphasis on thoughtful design and enduring quality.
Our objective has always been to create distinctive pieces that stand apart while retaining a playful spirit. Inspired by the freedom, curiosity, and imagination of childhood, each piece is crafted from precious materials with uncompromising attention to detail. We do not use shared designs or stock components, allowing every piece to feel uniquely its own.
