How can I identify authentic Tattoo Links?
Since its introduction in 2022, the Tattoo Link has become widely imitated. Authentic and original Former Child Tattoo Links are exclusively available through our official website.
Each piece is meticulously crafted from solid precious metals, never stainless steel or lower-grade alternatives. With the exception of the Micro, all Tattoo Links are finished with our signature horseshoe screw closure, a defining hallmark of the collection.
What is my ring size?
We recommend having your finger sized by a local jeweler and asking for your US ring size. If this is not possible, there are ring sizers available online. Ring sizing is a personal and design-specific consideration. For this reason, we ask that clients confirm their own ring size, as we cannot assume responsibility for determining it.
I don’t see my size or preferred configuration online. What should I do?
If your size or preferred configuration-whether metal color, karat, or stone color- is not listed, please contact us at info@former-child.com.
Where can I buy your jewelry?
We exclusively sell our designs through this official website to ensure authenticity and the highest standard of service.
What about repairs?
Jewelry repairs will be completed at no charge within 120 days of delivery. After 120 days, or for repairs determined to be the result of misuse, a repair fee will apply at the customer’s expense. You can find more info here.
When will my order ship?
In-stock items typically ship within 5 business days. Made-to-order pieces may take up to 6 weeks to ship. All jewelry orders require a signature upon delivery, without exception. More info can be found here.
Do you offer returns/refunds?
All made-to-order items, sale items, special orders, and customized products are final sale and not eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund. In stock items are eligible for return within 7 days of delivery. More info can be found here.
What gold karats do you use?
We do things a bit differently. For pieces featuring gemstones, we use 18k gold to perfectly compliment the stones. For gold designs without gemstones, we typically stock pieces in 14k. That said, we’re happy to craft any piece in your preferred metal and customize it to your specifications, with the exception of 24k which we do not work with.
